Grebe Coaches MIL 1714 in Great Yarmouth - 29 Mar 2022 (P1110091)

Tuesday 29 March 2022 (1057) – Grebe Coaches of Wheatacre, Norfolk MIL 1714, a Plaxton Cheetah bodied Mercedes-Benz, seen coming off Haven Bridge, Great Yarmouth. (Despite Wheatacre being in Norfolk its postal address is Beccles, Suffolk! The River Waveney forms the boundary of the two counties in this area).

There has been a bridge at this point since the early 1400s which is lowest downstream crossing point of the River Yare before reaching the sea. The current lifting bridge was completed in 1930 which replaced an earlier 1850s bridge.
