Stagecoach East 15219 (YN15 KHP) in Newmarket - 9 Jun 2021 (P1080518)

Wednesday 9 June 2021 (0754) – Newmarket’s Guineas bus station features just two nose in loading bays, a third vehicle can also load in the exit road but whilst doing so impedes the departure of any other vehicles.

Stagecoach East 15219 (YN15 KHP), an Alexander Dennis (ADL) bodied Scania N230UD new in August 2015, was loading in the exit road. This was the 0646 service 12 from Ely which was due from here at 0741. (Barely time to waste more time faffing about getting on and off a loading bay!)

In the background reversing out of one of the loading bays is Mulleys Motorways YY63 WCO working the 0750 service 311X to Bury St. Edmunds. It is a 15 metre long Plaxton Elite bodied B13RT which had been new to Park’s of Hamilton in January 2014 for National Express service work and whilst with Park’s it carried registration LSK 819.
