Service 8H: Stagecoach in Cambridge (Cambus) 27852 (AE13 DZY) - 1 Sep 2020 (P1070521)

Tuesday 1 September 2020 (0836) – During 2020 a project to install a city bound bus lane and other bus priorities, plus the creation of cycle lanes and improved pedestrian infrastructure, has been underway along Histon Road, Cambridge.

During the work Histon Road has been closed to city bound traffic resulting in the diversion of inbound Citi 8 and Busway B services operated by Stagecoach in Cambridge (Cambus). To give city bound Histon Road bus passengers a service a temporary service 8H has been in operation since 29 June which travels outward from the city centre to Orchard Park returning to the city centre via Chieftain Way and Arbury Road.

Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro300D 27849 (AE13 DZV), new in May 2013, is seen at Four Lamps Roundabout near Maids Causeway on its way towards the city centre.
