Temporary bus stops in Emmanuel Road, Cambridge for Covid-19 - 1 Sep 2020 (P1070495)

Tuesday 1 September 2020 (0816) – During the Covid-19 Coronavirus Pandemic a number of temporary bus stops were created in various parts of Cambridge city centre to reduce the volume of passengers needing to congregate in the bus station. This is a scene in Emmanuel Road not very far from Drummer Street bus station where the temporary stops were identified by the prefix ‘ER’.

Four Stagecoach in Cambridge buses are seen in this view. Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro300D 27849 (AE13 DZV), new in May 2013, is travelling past three double deckers standing at the different temporary bus stops.

The double deckers are 15199 (YN64 ANR) wearing the Ocean Green paint job introduced by Stagecoach in late 2019 although as yet unlettered. In front of that is 10805 (SN66 WAO), an Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro400D MMC new in December 2016 carrying the purple based livery for the Milton Park and Ride service. Furthest away is 19579 (AE10 BWM), an Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro400 bodied Trident new in March 2010, in fleet livery.
