Sunday 18 March 1990 - Ambassador Travel MCW Metroliner 916 (C916 BPW), new in March 1986, seen travelling along the A11 near Barton Mills when working the 0930 London (Victoria) to Great Yarmouth National Express ‘Rapide’ service 599.

‘Rapide’ services featured vehicles with toilet and catering facilities and made less frequent refreshment/toilet stops (if indeed making any at all) and therefore reduced the journey times.
