Saturday 25 May 2019 – A comparison of Stagecoach double deckers in Lancaster bus station.

Left is preserved P234 VCK, a Northern Counties bodied Volvo Olympian that was new to Stagecoach Ribble in October 1996 and carries the original stripes livery of the group. It was operating on a shuttle service to the Stagecoach North West garage open day at Morecambe. The event, and the Ribble Vehicle Preservation Trust 'Morecambe Vintage Bus Day' held in Morecambe the next day, were to celebrate 100 years of Ribble Motor Services.

The other two buses were on normal services. That in the centre is Stagecoach North West 11148 (YX68 UWY), an Alexander Dennis Enviro400D MMC new in December 2018. That on the right is 10023 (PX12 DMZ), an Alexander Dennis Enviro400D new in June 2012.
