East Yorkshire 462 (W462 UAG) in Hull – 6 Mar 2000 (433-05)
Monday 6 March 2000 (approx. 1355) – East Yorkshire Motor Services 462 (W462 UAG), a Plaxton Pointer bodied Dennis Dart, was only a few days old when photographed in the old Ferensway Bus and Coach Station in Hull. The ‘W’ prefix registration numbers began on 1 March 2000.

On the right is 650 (G299 UYK), an all Leyland Olympian that had been new to London Buses in December 1989 as their L299.

This area is now occupied by St. Stephen’s Shopping Centre. The roof across the background is part of the Paragon railway station. In later years when the Paragon Interchange was built the former train shed becoming the passenger waiting area for the nose in bus stands. The buses drawing up to the where the curved window can be seen just to the rear of the Dart.
