Biss Brothers line up at Stansted Airport - 2 Jul 1996

Biss Brothers line up at Stansted Airport - 2 Jul 1996
Tuesday 2 July 1996 – Biss Brothers Coaches of Bishop’s Stortford was acquired by the Lynton Travel Group during 1994 (as was Airport Coaches Limited based at Stansted Airport). This line up of coaches was seen at a parking area near the airport and includes two Bova Futuras (696 BTV and J8 BBC), two Van Hool (Alicron?) with Mercedes-Benz badges, a Jonckheere (Jubilee P50?) also with a Mercedes-Benz badging and finally another Bova Futura. Biss had also been a Mercedes-Benz agent and thus specified engines by that manufacturer hence the badging. The Futuras also had Mercedes-Benz engines.
