DSCF4921 Delaine 50 (RCT 3) at Bourne - 29 Sep 2018

Saturday 29 September 2018 (1051) – The Delaine Running Day at Bourne, Lincolnshire.

On board the upper deck of Yeates bodied Leyland PD3/1 RCT 3 new to Delaine in July 1960 as fleet number 50. Now part of The Delaine Heritage Trust Collection.

It was seen in the yard of the Bourne garage premises having just worked out to Stamford and back with the first trip of the special heritage bus service which operated every 30 minutes over the day. I had travelled to the event on this bus from Ryhall near Stamford.
