DSCF2720 Go North East 6333 (NK67 GOC) on the High Level Bridge, Newcastle - 2 Jun 2018
Saturday 2 June 2018 (0921) – Go North East 6333 (NK67 GOC), a Wrightbus Streetdeck new in January 2018, is seen travelling across the High Level Bridge from Newcastle-upon-Tyne to Gateshead when working ‘Angel’ service 21 to Durham. Allocated to Chester-le-Street garage it carries a variation of the ‘Angel’ branded livery publicising the night service.

The bridge was opened by Queen Victoria in 1849 and carries railway tracks on the upper level. The lower level features pedestrian paths either side of a roadway now restricted to use by local buses and taxis travelling southbound only. When constructed the roadway was adequate for two way carriage and cart traffic.
