Monday 1 February 1993 (approx. 1510) – De Lijn 5934 (1499 P), a DAF powered Van Hool A120 integral new to NMVB in April 1982, seen in Bruul, one of the main shopping street in Mechelen, working service 51B to Heist-op-den-Berg and Herentals. I had travelled on this bus from Heist-op-den-Berg on its previous trip.
In 1991 NMVB, Belgium’s national bus and tramway company, was split and the northern part serving Flanders became De Lijn.
