North Manchester Motor Coaches HVM 990 and GVM 233 in Manchester

North Manchester Motor Coaches Limited HVM 990 and GVM 233 seen outside the Town Hall in Albert Square, Manchester about to load a group of smartly dressed ladies on a wet looking day. The buildings behind the coaches stand on Princess Street, the stonework of what was the Northern Assurance Buildings much cleaner these days.

HVM 990 was a Trans-United bodied Leyland PS1 in the fleet from 1947 to 1957. GVM 233 was a Burlingham bodied Leyland TS4 in the fleet from approx 1946 to 1956. (Date and photographer unknown)
