Eastern Counties TEX 405R and VNG 378H - May 1979

May 1979 – Eastern Counties Omnibus Company VR195 (TEX 405R) (1977) and VR378 (VNG 378H) (1969), both are Eastern Coachworks bodied Bristol VRs. Seen parked at the Mildenhall outstation site which at the time was the private car park of Kirby Pharmaceuticals Limited on Chiswick Avenue. The car park entrance, still identifiable today, was directly opposite Finchley Avenue. This was one of my earliest ECOC photographs following my move from Lancashire to Suffolk (to work at Kirby Pharmaceuticals) in April 1979.
