West Coast Motors P200 WCM (Scottish Citylink contractor) at Aberdeen - 27 Mar 2001

West Coast Motors P200 WCM (Scottish Citylink contractor) at Aberdeen - 27 Mar 2001
Tuesday 27 March 2001 (approx. 1140) – The old bus station in Aberdeen, now demolished and replaced with a new development. The Stagecoach Bluebird office building complete with the bluebird logos either side of the Royal Warrant crest stands in the background. Vehicles entered the bus station by travelling along the hidden frontage of the building from the right (behind the telephone boxes) and loop round to park in the loading stances which, in this photograph, are occupied by West Coast Motors Van Hool Alizee bodied DAF P200 WCM between trips on Scottish Citylink services. The National Express double decker is Trathens Travel Services R264 OFJ, a 1998 Van Hool Astrobel bodied Volvo B12T, that had worked the 2300 overnight service 592 from London the previous evening arriving in Aberdeen at 1045. It was now loading as the 1150 service 538 to Manchester Airport (due there at 2040. Beyond that is a Stagecoach Bluebird Plaxton Premiere Interurban on a more localised coach service.
