Cambridge Coach Services F421 DUG at Mildenhall - 30 Oct 1994

Sunday 30 October 1994 – This was the first day of operation by Cambridge Coach Services of their Cambridge-Lowestoft service 74. 321 (F421 DUG), a Plaxton Paramount 3200 bodied Volvo B10M was working the first eastbound run – the 0800 departure from Cambridge. I took a ride on this trip to Thetford returning on the first westbound run worked by identical coach 325 (F425 DUG). Both these coaches have the low driving position and thus need the extra horizontal upper windscreen as fitted to the higher 3500 Plaxton models. They were new in 1988 to Wallace Arnold Tours.
