Cambridge Coach Services F425 DUG at Thetford - 30 Oct 1994

Sunday 30 October 1994 – This was the first day of operation by Cambridge Coach Services of their Cambridge-Lowestoft service 74. 325 (F425 DUG), a Plaxton Paramount 3200 bodied Volvo B10M was working the first westbound run – the 0800 departure from Lowestoft. The first eastbound run was worked by a similar coach, 321 (F421 DUG), both were new in 1988 to Wallace Arnold Tours and feature the lower driving position and thus featuring the extra horizontal upper windscreen as fitted to the higher 3500 Plaxton models. I had taken a ride up from Mildenhall to Thetford on 321 and returned on this coach which was seen in Thetford bus station.
