Acadian Lines 118 at Sydney (Nova Scotia) - 7 Sep 1992 (Ref 174-19)
Monday 7 September 1992 (Labour Day) (1550) – Journey’s end as Acadian Lines 118 unloads passengers, baggage and parcels at the company’s terminal in Sydney (Nova Scotia). The Sydney terminal, also new the same year, was the latest and last of the company’s terminals to open complementing those built on the network in previous years. My friend and kindly host for this trip, Paul Leger, is standing beneath the canopy. It had worked the 0800 ‘all stops’ trip 53 from Halifax. An MCI MC9 Crusader Special new in 1989. (Ref 174-19)
