EVERSOURCE Energy
Folder: Investor-Owned Utilities
Northeast Utilities has re-organized under a new name, 'EVERSOURCE Energy'. This also coincided with a transition to a new distribution pole construction style that utilizes fiberglass crossarms and 35kV Hendrix visetops on all conductor types.

EVERSOURCE 4.8kV - New Hartford, CT
Quite a few changes have taken place at this pole. I first photographed a CL&P armless pole at this location in 2011:
Then, in 2016, I noticed that EVERSOURCE Energy replaced the main pole while preserving the push-brace pole. The new pole had a fiberglass arm:
Then, interestingly, I drove past the pole today and noticed that the fiberglass arm had been replaced by an off-center wooden arm. It seems odd to me that they did not use a conventional alley-arm on this pole.
