Here are some more interesting poles. Gotta love that old steel deadend arm with the heavy cutouts!

The green pole on the left hosts VT's and CT's for primary metering.

That's different. Is the second line a private branch to a large customer?

That it is.

This picture doesn't bring out the perspective as well as I wish it did. The line branches off of the trunk, which is on the pole located farthest to the right. Then it turns a 90 on the buck-arm pole in the center on two small fiberglass deadends. After that, it is metered on the green pole to the left.

The metered primary continues alongside the trunk line for a few spans on poles with toothpick brackets as seen here:

Certainly is some heavy wire at that too--makes me think this must've been a big customer.
