It is/was a magnificent building. The ruler, H.M. Sultan Qaboos was given a private conducted tour prior to our official opening and his comment was that it was a palace! The interior atrium is absolutely spectacular. I will try and find a link to the images. Here is one link to give you some idea of looking down into the full height atrium from the fourth floor. The note image is of the atrium from the ground floor. The building was awarded the Aga Khan Award for Architecture a year or so after it opened.
