this photo by Christina Sonnenschein

Strassenkunst in Timișoara

Nachtrag 02.01.2015:

I am not throwing stones here, but Christina, is this your art work? I wish I could draw/paint a 1/4 good as this...

Who is the artist?

Too good not to have a name....

Thank you all for the question about the painter.
Without you, I would never have had the idea, to throw my photo into Google images search,
to find other photos, where I maybe can find out, who it was.
I'm sorry, that I haven't had the chance to see him, while painting.
It would have been wonderful and interesting to watch this, but it was already finished.

But now, thanks a lot, I'm able to show you the artist.
Please follow the link and maybe have a look and enjoy the other pictures
of this wonderful country Romania.

Very interesting, however, I am amazed that you so vehemently attack others through your "Art Theft" group, and yet you are happy to leave this without any mention of the artist.

Surely that is hypocritical?

If you are going to point fingers at others, perhaps you should see that you are not guilty of the same thing.

When I initially stumbled across this picture, I thought that it was one of yours.

Think about it!

You are right!

Now, through your thought-provoking impulse, I'm able to complete the description correctly.
Please feel free, to show me other pictures, where I have failed in this or other ways.

Kind regards

if I may interrupt here,
I don't think Paul was going for a tit-for-tat comment, I believe he was just saying the artist who / where ever it was should have gotten credit. In the description you would say something like.... "this is NOT my artwork I saw it at....
a geotag does absolutely nothing for me... it just shows where the pic is taken, you would have to be a local to know anything about that.

after all the crap that went down last weekend with using others peoples pictures without consent ... I would think that advice would be followed here .... this is exactly the same thing, or it was before the description was changed. Someone else's art was posted as her own, there was no credit given! It is just as wrong as using someone else's photo absolutely no difference! Now that group that did all the mud-slinging is doing it all behind closed doors. Seems a little underhanded and sneaky to me. Did any of the accused even get a chance to defend themselves as Christina did? I think not!

So... if you are going throw stones, please make sure you do not live in a glass house!

I think you are discussing something totally different here. Posting a photo taken of a piece of art is not the same as posting a photo of a piece of art taken by someone else. Think about it: Is ist wrong to post a photo of the da Vinci's Mona Lisa, Michelangelo's David or may be the Golden Gate Bridge, because it is not my work? I think you did not even understand the problem.

Posting a photo taken by someone else is a clear violation of that person's IPR. So, Christina is not sitting in a glas house at all!

Best you look up the meaning of semantics!

Until Christine was pushed by myself and others, she had no intention of recognising this artist or his work.

Your happy little band of Gestapo members needs to take a long hard look at themselves before pointing fingers at others.

I do not think that this is ANY different from the pictures that you and your friends are demanding be removed. I close crop of a Rembrandt or a Gaugin without any reference, so that it could be possibly construed as your own work is precisely what Christine has done here, until asked to name the artist.

This is a group of bullies - SHAME ON YOU!

This from Wikipedia on Cyber bullying - as that is what your group is doing.:

Cyberbullying is the use of information technology to repeatedly harm or harass other people in a deliberate manner.[1] According to U.S. Legal Definitions, Cyber-bullying could be limited to posting rumors or gossips about a person in the internet bringing about hatred in other’s minds; or it may go to the extent of personally identifying victims and publishing materials severely defaming and humiliating them.[2]
