MY GEM OF THE HERITAGE DAYS on September 18: Montesson Castle (14th - 17th C.) is surrounded by a moat and consists of an entrance gate from the 16th C., the old medieval residence and the main building built in the 17th C. The entrance pavilion is remarkable for its roof which is curved in opposite directions on all four sides, the granite facade adorned with the family coat of arms of the Montesson family and a round onion dome with a slate roof.
MEIN SCHMUCKSTÜCK AM DENKMALTAG am 18. September : Montesson (14. - 17.
