Amelia ^club

This is a horse chestnut, which is slightly poisonous. The sweet chestnut has a much pricklier casing.

I guess in Holland they use they same names we do- for us Kastanien are horse chestnuts and chestnuts are Eßkastanien.

We are always saying: ‘kastanje’ or ‘tamme kastanje’ Gudrun! The ‘tamme kastanje’ is edible... I was wrong with the English name!
