I DESPERATELY MISS THEIR CALLS

I'm sure you do Pam. I love to hear them in the hedgerows in the field behind my home, especially the 'happy clucking' of the hen birds when the find the food put out for them in the winter.

Thanks very much for your kind comment Rosa. Young birds are reared in pens in the local woods and seem to associate vehicles with food arriving. When they are released from the pens they tend to gather near roads, the result of which we know!
