The Long (North) Pier and Cross Pier form the well-sheltered havens of the Outer and enclosed Inner Harbours at St. Andrews. In the past the harbour was home to fifty or more fishing vessels. Nowadays the harbour provides shelter for a growing number of pleasure boats as well as a small group of fishing vessels.

Thanks very much for the visit and kind words Herb. I have family in St. Andrews and have had many a good time as a kid around the harbour when on holiday and living their for a short while.
