Goldfinger

Diesen eigenartigen Harzausfluss im Gegenlicht fand ich im Sommer an einem Kirschbaum. Es ist "Gummifluss", eine gefürchtete Krankheit von Laubbäumen, vor allem von Steinobst (Kirsche, Zwetschge u.s.w.). Die Erkrankung kann durch Hitze und Trockenheit, aber auch durch Bakterien und Pilze ausgelöst werden. Eine Bekämpfung ist praktisch nicht möglich, sinnvoll ist aber eine gute Versorgung des Baums mit Wasser und Dünger. Wichtig ist auch eine richtige Standortwahl.
