Leben im Vulkanschutt - Life in volcanic rocks - mit PiPs

Dieses seltsame Dickblattgewächs (Aeonium glandulosum) ist eine Rarität, weil es weltweit wild nur auf Madeira (!) auf Extremstandorten vorkommt. Dieses Exemplar wuchs in Lavaschutt, der bei São Jorge steil zum Meer abfällt. Die Aufnahme entstand bei einer Wanderung auf Madeira. Im 1. PiP ein Foto des Wanderwegs durch den Lavaschutt, im 2. This strange plant from the stonecrop family (Crassulaceae) is Aeonium glandulosum, a rarity because this plant is endemically found wild only in Madeira. This specimen grew in lava debris that drops steeply to the sea near São Jorge. The picture was taken during a hike in Madeira. In the 1st PiP a photo of the path through the lava debris, in the 2nd PiP lava debris with "volcanic bombs" (see Wikipedia article), in the 3rd PiP another site with Aeonium glandulosum.
