Silver Pennies - Le tabouret des champs
Please look on black

In a near-naturally farmeded vineyard the field penny-cress (Thlaspi arvense) is allowed to spread, an indicator of nutrient-rich, humus, loamy soils in particular. Thlaspi arvense is cooked or raw edible. It has a bitter taste which can be attenuated by stewing. It is used in naturopathy and acts i.a. anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial, both externally and internally. The name comes from the appearance of the fruits, which look like pennies.
