I have no idea what these are called. I've wanted to get some shots of them for a long time, and this day we got lucky.
Anyone know what they are called or if they have another purpose other than holding back the cliffs?

I found a garage open, and used my American Wayzes on them, they let me climb on top of the building, through the metal wire, old tires, bits of brick & glass, and yes asbestos!! I endangered my life for these shots! LoL
