I like this little moth, not especially a common one but we do usually see a few every year.

I agree, I've had real troubles with DoF since I got the canon and the lens set up I use, even at 55mm its still shallow with some things, and of course its a fine line between close for detail and angle and DoF. I've just gotten a reversing ring and a cheapo FD lens 35-70mm and the DoF is well improved, now I just need to get to grips with using it in all manual mode.
