In Cuba for the 5th time, maybe the last time. A journey to old and mainly new places, we went from Santiago de Cuba to Baracoa - Moa - Rafael Freyre - Holguin - Manati - Camagüey - Moron - Remedios/Caibarien - Sagua la Grande - Cardenas - Hershey/Camilo Cienfuegos - Havana. There are very few cars on the road in eastern Cuba, even in cities like Santiago de Cuba. One actual reason is a fuel crisis, mainly caused by technical problems with the large refinery in Santiago. But horse carriages for transport are common in any case.
