Très impressionnant cet alignement de machines tournantes, je suppose.
Est-ce qu'il s'agissait d"une anciennne centrale électrique ?

It's a former coal mine. These are the remains of many many machines in this hall. The image shows 2 so called "Ilgner-transformers", a mechanical combination of rotating electrical machines that convert one type of current into another, for example direct current into alternating current. The special Ilgner transformer stores kinetic energy and runs for quite a long time also whithout electricity supply. Thanks, Corinne!

I still can't get over this magnificent building being part of a coal mine. Lovely to see the inside of the hall Berny.
