Rio Mayo - the bus
The production of the model LO 1114 began 1970 in the Mercedes-Benz industrial center in Virrey del Pino in the district of La Matanza. Basis was engine and chassis of the L 1114, which was already in production in Argentina. More than 29000 buses were produced until 1988. While this bus type was destined for the home market, it was also exported into other Latin America countries like Paraguay, Chile, Uruguay and Bolivia.
