Parque Provincial Aconcagua

Parque Provincial Aconcagua
The whole region's most famous park is Parque Provincial Aconcagua, home of 6962 m tall Cerro Aconcagua, the highest peak outside the Himalayas and a favorite climbing destination. Reaching the summit requires a commitment of at least 13 to 15 days, including acclimatization time. A part of Aconcagua is seen in the far background. At that time in the year 2000 there were very very few. Don't know, if that has changed. If I look in the Internet for a location we visited in 2000, almost everywhere seem to be much more tourists now.

Der hat schon so wenig PS, da fallt das auch nicht mehr auf ;-))) Das sind hier ca. 2900 m, aber wir fuhren danach noch auf ca. 3800 m rauf.
