This wonderful old Keritis bridge over Alikianos River had been destroyed by an extreme flood last winter in February -see PiP some years ago!

Oups. Und ansonsten scheint da eher kaum Wasser entlang zu fließen. Vermutlich haben sich davor Baumstämme oder so verkeilt, so dass sich das Wasser aufstauen und einen entsprechenden Druck aufbauen konnte...

Unter der Brücke war ein Absturz und das nicht tief gegründete Fundament wurde unterspült.
