Le Grand Hornu - 1

Grand-Hornu is a quite huge old industrial coal mining complex and company town (cité ouvrière) in Hornu in Belgium. It was built by Henri De Gorge between 1810 and 1830.

Das PiP schaut auf den ersten Blick verzerrt aus, aber das ganze ist ja rund im Grundriss. Schon ein tolles Bauwerk. Eigentlich war zugesperrt an diesem Tag, aber ein netter Herr ließ uns trotzdem rein......
