Forton Lake - wrecks
A lot of wrecks and rusty remains of boats are rotting in Forton Lake in Gosport. Unfortunately the most interesting wreck cannot be accessed currently, it's the "Vadne" in PiP-1, a former steam ferry that worked transporting people and goods between Gosport and Portsmouth from the 30s to the 50s. The last PiP shows a Motor Mine Sweeper (MMS No. 293), which saw service in the Normandy in WWII.
