The Cathedral of Turin is a Roman Catholic cathedral dedicated to St. John the Baptist, it is also the seat of the Archbishops of Turin.
The Cathedral was added in the years 1491-1498 to a bell tower built in 1470. The Chapel of the Holy Shroud, the current location of the Turin Shroud, was integrated into the existing structure in 1668-1694.

Wie faszinierend das Turiner Grabtuch zu sehen. Diese Kathedrale sieht für ein so wichtiges Werk nicht sehr beeindruckend aus. Trotzdem ist das eine gute Idee, damit die Leute sie nicht verunstalten. Es ist erstaunlich zu sehen, dass diese Kathedrale über 600 Jahre alt ist. Fantastisch.
