I've got a damson tree too. Only I picked them and put them in the freezer, then I was going to make jam or chutney. One of my delivery men asked if he could pick a few of the damsons as he was going to make some jam, but I gave him the whole bag because I didn't think I'd get round to making jam this year and I was right!!!!
