Die Chiemgauer Alm
Seit 1915 bewirtschaftet die Familie Niederhauser diese Alm. Offenbar gehörte die Waldwirtschaft mit dazu - sonst wär die Hütte nicht so verziert wie meine vielen PIPs zeigen. Gerne wird diese Alm auch von einheimischen Wanderern besucht und auch wir sind dort almtypisch bewirtet worden. Die Alm liegt oberhalb der Streichenkirche: bis in deren Nähe können Autos hochfahren um von dort aus in diesem Areal zu wandern.
Die Chiemgauer Alm ist eine mittelalterlich Klosteralm des Klosters Herrenchiemsee. Nach dem "Neubau" aus dem Jahre 1780 der im Bild zu sehen ist bis zur Säkularisierung verblieb also nicht viel Zeit.
