P087G Perola villosipes Strange Rest Position.

Limacodidae - Wingspan: 54mm.

This strange moth was found resting overhead on the door closer to our balcony during a moth trapping session. The strange shape is due to the fore-legs being curled back on themselves whilst being held out in front of the moth. It certainly looked less moth-like in this posture.
