Negotiating the lift, we were in the area of the Spa and Riverside Cafe, which overlooked its own swimming pool for hotel guests. There are plenty of views of the pool on the web and the setting was idyllic, although it was a long walk just to go for a swim. We were heading down past this area to get to the river path.
