Golden spring arrival

29 Mar 2020 2 230
On 29th March I had these daffodils in a vase in my kitchen while the bright sun streamed through the window. The golden illumination was gloriousl. The wonder of nature unfolding around us is a great relief to confinement during the awful coronavirus epidemic. Bridge Of Weir, Scotland.

Heart on the table

20 Sep 2017 1 289
While in Italy this summer visiting Pheona, I inadvertently got this fuzzy image of one of the motifs on the tablecloth in the livingroom as my camera sat on the table. It seemed fortuitous and it's warm and comfy. Bedogno, Emilia Romagna, Italy 20 September 2017.

Returned to the Dolomites and climbed the Via Ferrata Brigata Tridentina in cold damp conditions with Shaun and Gerena. The first snowfall was 2 days before this, and it made it much more difficult and uncomfortable. But great to be back and fabulous views and exercise. 4th September 2017.

I had an interesting visit to my friend David's allotment in Paisley on Saturday. It was impressive to see how successful their summer season has been. I helped pick some potatoes, a huge marrow, apples, beetroot, rhubarb, radishes and tomatoes. Looking forward to getting my own space one day. Saturday 3rd September 2016, Paisley, Scotland.
