This is another photo for my Cobbler album. I led this walk on Saturday 27th June for Glasgow HF Outdoor Club. Up the riverbed route, but it was too wet to walk on the stone. Myself, Allan and Stewart, with a couple of other tiny people accidentally creating a cool photo bomb. Ben Arthur (884 m), above Arrochar, Argyll & Bute, Scotland.
Good day. Bonjour. Guten tag. Buongiorno !

A lovely early morning on Saturday, went out for a couple of hours around my village soaking up the sun and catching some of the happy flowers enjoying it too. Bridge Of Weir, Scotland Saturday 23rd May 2015.

A walk on Christmas day quite a few years ago near my Uncle Ian's house in Bearsden, scanned from 35mm print. Always wanted to do something with this photo. Will dig out the negative and see if it copes with enlargement. Scotland 2000.

Gone a bit domesticated this Autumn. Wanted to try making rosehip jelly, so picked these locally off the wild rose bushes. Collected 1½lbs (750g) and added to 3lbs cooking apples and sugar. End result was 2lbs of delicious orange coloured, apricot tasting jelly. Bridge Of Weir, Scotland 23rd September 2014.

One of the giant horse head sculptures at the side of the Forth + Clyde canal in Falkirk, Scotland. Known as the Kelpies, they are 30 metres high and rear out of the ground dramatically. Sunday 22nd September 2014.

5½ pounds of Brambles (blackberries) picked yesterday on the Isle of Cumbrae and today on my home turf in Bridge Of Weir. Going to collect some cooking apples this afternoon and make about 5 jars of Bramble jelly hopefully. 14th September 2014, Scotland.

I visited the lovely island of Islay in the southern Hebrides in Scotland last week. My first visit and the weather was beautiful. This was at Machir Bay at Kilchoman on the west coast of the island. Next landfall - America. So far, this is my favourite photo from the trip. This was an enormous beach but you would be fooled into thinking it was busy. 29th August 2014.

Orange Hawkweed

Dazzling warm sunshine in Scotland. The flowers don't know what's happening and are growing wild. Took me a while to find the name for this "weed" on the lawn. Orange Hawkweed or Fox-and-cubs is what appears if you don't keep your grass short. 29th June 2014, Bowling, West Dunbartonshire, Scotland.

The photos that Tony Stark never wanted you to see. It's true, he lives in Glasgow and he's a Dad!

About 10 years ago, me and my mate Doug began a three year run of climbing holidays in the Italian Dolomites. This was a via ferrata route called Piz da Lech. We were fortunate that co-incidentally we were photographed by some other climbers at our hotel, who caught us scaling the rock face centre screen. How lucky were we? Above Corvara and Arraba in the Val Badia, Italy. I'm wearing the red helmet.

The comedy gold title is eluding me right now. It normally jumps out at me. P(l)ease feel free to offer a suitably whimsical title for my photo and you never know - I might put your name up in lights. If I can't do the lights, you realise it will be peas? This was what you might call playing with food down in Patterdale, The Lake District a few years ago. The waitress took this in her stride. White Lion Inn 15th April 2011.

At the end of a wonderful day on the mountains above Ballachulish, the sun said goodnight in spectacular fashion. Looking west over across Loch Linnhe to the Ardgour peninsula from South Ballachulish, close to the bridge. Sunday 27th April 2014, Scotland
