Palácio Vale Flor
It was built at the end of the 19th century. Built on top of Santo Amaro in the early 20th century, Palácio Vale Flor is one of the most beautiful palatial buildings in romantic Lisbon.
The Valle Flôr Palace was built by the Italian architect Nicola Bigaglia, who was connected to the project between 1905 and 1906, however, from 1910 onwards, it was the architect José Ferreira da Costa who continued to monitor all the works, especially the new wings , and the Stables.
The palace was acquired in 1992 by the Pestana Group, and since then has undergone restoration and adaptation works, according to a project by Manuel Tainha, who reclassified it as a hotel unit.
It was classified as a National Monument in 1997.
