Leaving Port & pip
The mooring vessel "MD Warden" leaves Kyle of Lochalsh on a flat and grey autumnal day,
The Isle of Skye and the village of Kyleakin are in the background it's worth remembering that before the building of the Skye bridge this was the crossing point for the island ferries. Two ferries still serve the island, Mallaig to Armadale (Calmac) and the community owned Glenelg to Kyle Rhea which crosses the notorious Kylerhea Straights and is a highly recommended experience. skyeferry.co.uk
