KN0375 KENORA - [CIRCUS ANIMALS - ELEPHANTS & CAMELS 2]

KN0375 KENORA - [CIRCUS ANIMALS - ELEPHANTS & CAMELS 2]
POSTCARD

Date: Not evident. Not Posted.

Publisher / Photographer: Unidentified

Notation: Elephants and camels strolling on the road beside the park attached to the C.P.R. Station in Kenora, (Station is to the right of this picture.) It seems quite likely that the circus arrived by train, as a journey by road from the nearest sizeable town (Winnipeg) would have been over 100 miles of primitive roads through inhospitable terrain.

Note on reverse reads; "This is some of the circus that was here. I finished them up, and painted them myself too." Follow this link to see one of the photos that the photographer added (red) paint to: KN0372 KENORA - [CIRCUS ANIMALS - ELEPHANTS & CAMELS]

One can never have too many real photo postcards featuring elephants up here in Canada!
