"kissing fence"? You mean the two embrracing ends in the middle?
...er ist wohl schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, das ist für hiesige Verhältnisse ungewöhnlich. Überall wird renoviert und neu gebaut -und jetzt habe ich aktuell erfahren dass an diesem (Nachbar-) Haus ein Anbau und eine Umgestaltung geplant ist. Dann wird dieser kleine verwilderte Garten sicher auch verschwinden.
