Keilfleckschwebfliegen (Eristalis tenax) oder Mistbiene genannt...

Die Mistbiene ist eine große, 14 bis 18 Millimeter lange, bienenähnliche Schwebfliege. Ihr Hinterleib ist dunkelbraun und hat am zweiten Segment keilförmige gelbe, ockerfarbene oder rötlich-gelbe Flecken. Allerdings ist die Zeichnung recht unterschiedlich.

Die schwarzen Facettenaugen sind oben und unten durch Haarbinden verbunden. An den Augen kann man auch Männchen und Weibchen unterscheiden: Bei den Männchen stoßen die Augen an der Stirn zusammen, bei den Weibchen sind die Augen deutlich voneinander getrennt.
