Besten Dank, Ko! Die Wasserfälle dort sind schon was, die fahren mit dem Boot sogar so ran, dass man geduscht wird, da habe ich natürlich die Kamera weggepackt;-)

Thank you, Wally! This waterfall comes out of a typical hanging valley cut by glaciers. That's also the reason the mountainsides are so steep and the fjord so deep:-)

Nothing wrong with that Gudrun..............my camera has excellent built in image stabilisation which is always on unless I'm using a tripod.

There's no point in paying for a camera with all the bells and whistles unless we use it..!!

Canon sadly has unstabilized camera bodies and my tele lens is also an unstabilized one so sports mode was essential.
As to the bells and whistles- I only ever use a very small part of them. Sometimes I happen on a new function and am surprised;-)

Großen Dank, Heide! Je nach vorhergehendem Niederschlag kommt dort manchmal noch wesentlich mehr runter, aber beeindruckend ist es immer.

Es ist das einzige der automatischen Motivprogramme, das ich benutze und funktioniert vor allem bei bewegten Motiven gut, z.B. auch bei Tieren. Das Sportprogramm wählt selbständig eine verwacklungssichere Verschlusszeit und verfolgt sich bewegende Motive nach, außerdem macht es Serienbilder, wenn man den Finger auf dem Auslöser lässt.

That sure looks like a fine waterfall. I know this area is famed for such things. Even at 250th much of the water still has movement blur. Love it. Well done.

Thank you, Herb! The fall is very high so it develops a bit of speed:-) When it has rained a lot the falls can be much more impressive and you'll find nameless waterfalls developing all along the fiord.
